Model
DB-1-SP is a small dust collector developed for small
individual dust sources, particularly woodworking machines.
It uses a 1/3 HP continuous-duty motor and a self-cleaning,
paddle wheel fan. The vacuum hose (NOT INCLUDED) attaches
to the 5" diameter vacuum inlet on the blower housing.
The dust disposal drum is mounted on casters and enclosed
in the housing that supports the blower. The discharge
from the blower, induces a centrifugal action.
This action drops the heavier particles into the dust
drum and only the fine dust goes into the filter bag
for filtration. The fabric filter bag is specially woven
for dust collecting uses. A hand shaker permits periodic
shaking of the filter, as required.
The
bag on this machine was bought in 2005, has been used
only to test the machine. The bag cost $56.oo. Included,
you will also get a copy of a Maintenance Instruction
booklet with a parts list.
This
item will be wrapped, banded and shipped via Freight
Truck. Crating is available (trucking companies may
require that your item be crated). The cost of crating
