QUICK STEPS TO PERFECT BINDING
CLAMP * MILL * GLUE * COVER * DELIVER
1.
CLAMP
Built
of extra-strong cast aluminum, this machine is easy to regulate.
Perfect parallel regulation by means of simultaneous movements
of both sides of the drawer.
Positioning
system; mechanical stop in 150mm long rail, allows a perfect
stop for the clamp to receive the cover without any variation
between the cover and inside section. This has the added
benefit of increasing the life span of the engine because
it only has to stop once in each cycle.
2. NEW MILLING SET
This
milling was especially designed to offer a more perfect
cut and greater durability to the hard material disc. It
is powered by a 3HP engine. This set has two blades that
cut deep channels on the spine of the book, which allows
a better penetration and adherence of the glue.
The
milling set with more teeth reduces the excess of chips
and increases cutting durability. The blades are made of
extra strong steel, which permits various types of sharpening
and practical fine adjustment.
3. GLUING SET-HOTMELT
It’s
an independent starter. The heating system with more homogenous
distribution and a precision electronic thermostat promotes
a longer life span of resistance. It has two rotating cylinders
with independent regulations and two regulating applicators
to apply glue on the side of the spine.
The
Baby-Binder may be supplied with the option of a mechanism
for applying cold glue (without the resistance or temperature
regulator). A gluing set with more electrical resistance
and operating with fewer watts distributes the heat better
and increases its life span.
4. PNEUMATIC COVER PRESS
This
exclusive system with pneumatic pressure was developed combining
a synchronized mechanical-pneumatic system. This Exclusive
System allows the spine of the book to become Perfectly
Square. It is a cover positioning system and does not require
fine adjustment. This is a world exclusive system. It allows
the operator, with a simple touch of a regulator, to make
a perfect spine for a magazine between 3mm and 50mm, using
covers of various weights, with or without
a groove.
The
pneumatic pressure stands out by its rapid and very efficient
response to a change in shape or thickness of the spine.
As noted, mechanical pressure leaves much to be desired.
In the case of thin spines, the system of springs exerts
excessive pressure causing constant creases and making the
operator's job difficult. In the case of thick spines (over
25mm) the problem is the opposite: there is not enough pressure
and the spine ends up rounded.
