The Eurobind 1200 is simple and problem-free to operate,
offering maximum convenience with minimal changeover times.
It takes only minutes to convert the machine for a new
format using handwheels. This ensures outstanding productivity
and top-quality perfect binding.
Features:
Clamping
and Block Infeed Station
The
opening of all four clamps is simultaneously set using
a central handwheel with counter. A sensor system ensures
precise block feeding and an integrated jogger exactly
aligns book blocks before the clamps are pneumatically
closed.
Central
Control Console has a central control console for operating
all machine functions. All additional timer functions,
such as a preheating timer for the hotmelt glue tank and
a timer for the cover press, as well as counting functions
and production and error and malfunction information appear
in the display.
Milling
Station and Hotmelt Glue Tank
Spines
are prepared by a multitooth milling disk with attached
slitting knives. It is quick and easy to set to a milling
depth between 0 and 3 mm (0.12 in) to precisely remove
the fold(s) on the spine of the book block and maximize
the sheet surface area for glue application. This optimally
prepares the block for hotmelt gluing. The hotmelt glue
tank contains two rollers for spine gluing, a counter-rotating
spinner roller, and a professional disk-type side gluing
unit. The Eurobind 1200 is equipped with electrical control
of the gluing length for both spine and side gluing.
Vacuum
Cover Feeder with Scoring Unit
The
vacuum cover feeder can be loaded with a stack more than
500 mm (19.69 in) high. Format changes can be made very
easily thanks to automatic adjustment of the feeder table's
height and format setting using handwheels with scales.
An integrated double scoring unit can be precisely set
without tools.
Automatic
Cover Press
The
automatic, self-regulating cover press is easy to adjust
to the format being processed. A press timer is integrated
in the central control console.
Deliveries
The
Eurobind 1200 is equipped with a belt delivery and a four-station
pile delivery for adhesive-bound products. Also optionally
available is a belt delivery with integrated blast air
for integrating the Eurotrim three-side trimmer into the
process.
